The current site contains valuable information but feels overcrowded, making it difficult for visitors to quickly find what they need. This project focuses on simplifying and organizing content into clearer sections, creating a more intuitive and engaging experience that helps users take action and connect with the Sanctuary’s work.
Why I Chose to Redesign the Busch Wildlife Sanctuary Website
I chose to redesign the Busch Wildlife Sanctuary website because of its incredible mission and to elevate its digital experience with the impact it makes in the real world. One of the biggest challenges is that the site feels bloated with information. While the content itself is valuable, it’s often presented all at once, making it overwhelming for users to navigate. Important details like how to help, what to do if you find an injured animal, or how to visit can get lost in dense pages and long blocks of text. This project is about simplifying without losing substance. By condensing the content and organizing it into clearly defined sections, visitors should be able to quickly find what they need, whether they’re looking to donate, learn, or take action.
The redesigned Busch Wildlife Sanctuary website delivers a significantly improved user experience by transforming a content-heavy platform into a clear, intuitive, and action-driven interface. Fun to navigate for all ages! By condensing information and restructuring it into well-defined sections, users can now quickly find key resources. Navigation feels more seamless, reducing friction and keeping users engaged longer. The updated design also strengthens the Sanctuary’s mission by putting impact front and center, using cleaner layouts, stronger calls-to-action, and more intentional content hierarchy. As a result, the site is better positioned to increase donations, program participation, and overall community involvement, while more accurately reflecting the organization’s professionalism and purpose.
